Zygo Community Fund: Why We Created "IVF On Us"

Fertility is hard enough without cost being the thing that stops you.

Yet for many couples, that's exactly what happens. Not because they didn't try hard enough - but because IVF can become financially overwhelming at the exact moment life already feels emotionally maxed out.

That's why we created the Zygo IVF Support Initiative - what we call "IVF On Us."

A percentage of every Zygo purchase goes into a community fund created to help cover the cost of IVF for a deserving couple.

This isn't a side project. It's built into how Zygo operates - because we believe responsibility doesn't stop at formulation. It includes recognising the wider reality of fertility journeys, and showing up when it counts.

IVF is more than a medical process

When people talk about IVF, they usually focus on the clinical side: appointments, injections, scans, egg retrieval, embryo transfer.

But running alongside all of that is a second, quieter burden, the constant financial pressure sitting in the background of every decision.

For couples who self-fund, and many do, that pressure can become relentless. It's not just a cost. It's repeated payments, compounding uncertainty, and difficult conversations about what's possible, what's sustainable, and what happens if the first round doesn't work.

When financial strain becomes emotional strain

IVF rarely arrives when life feels calm and organised.

It often comes when people are already exhausted from trying - already navigating disappointment, uncertainty, or the quiet grief of time passing. That's what makes the cost feel so heavy: it lands in a season that is already full.

Even couples who are financially stable can feel the strain. Because IVF isn't a normal purchase. It's an investment in something deeply personal, with no guaranteed outcome.

At some point, many couples face a question no one should have to ask:

How much hope can we afford?

We don't think anyone should be in that position.

Why we built "IVF On Us"

Zygo exists to raise the standard in fertility support - not just through better formulation, but through genuine care around the journey.

We've seen closely enough to understand the impact. Self-funded IVF can strain relationships, disrupt financial stability, and pile pressure onto an already difficult chapter.

And we believe one thing firmly:

Finances shouldn't be what stops someone from pursuing parenthood.

So rather than treating IVF access as a separate issue, we made support part of the Zygo structure from day one.

Why it's a community fund, not a one-off donation

A lot of brands give occasionally — a campaign, a month, a moment.

We didn't want this to be seasonal or performative. We wanted it to be consistent, transparent, and built to grow.

That's why a percentage of every Zygo purchase goes into the fund. Not profits. Not "when we can." Not "when it suits the calendar."

Every purchase helps grow the initiative. As the Zygo community grows, so does the fund.

This is what we mean by community-led impact: people supporting people, in a way that compounds over time.

What the initiative is designed to do

The aim is simple: help a deserving couple take the next step.

We want the Zygo IVF Support Initiative to be meaningful, not token. IVF is expensive, and a real contribution needs to actually shift what's possible for someone.

Just as importantly, we want this done with dignity. Fertility struggles are private, and we have no interest in turning someone's hardest chapter into a marketing moment.

How it will work

As the initiative rolls out, we'll share clear details on:

  • how couples can be nominated or apply

  • how selection will work

  • when funding will be awarded

  • how we'll communicate outcomes, with care and discretion

Our guiding principles: privacy, fairness, and real support.

Why this matters to us

Zygo is built on standards: quality, honesty, and care.

Care shouldn't stop at what's in the capsule. It should extend to the reality of the people taking it: the stress, the waiting, the uncertainty, and the cost.

The Zygo Community Fund is our way of embedding that care into the brand itself. not as a PR add-on, but as a built-in operating principle.

"IVF On Us" exists so that as a community, we help make the path to parenthood feel a little less out of reach. Because everyone deserves the chance to pursue the greatest joy. And finances shouldn't be the reason they can't.
